As such, they should be used along with social distancing measures and proper hygiene.

According to health professionals, the recommended approach to wash your face mask is to use a washing machine with detergent, on the hottest settings available. Alternatively, you can place your face mask in boiling hot water and dish soap, swirling it around occasionally.
